Lots of exciting transitions happening right now, including the release of my new book in just two months — a workbook created specifically for those with an Anxious Attachment Style. And I can't wait to share this resource with you soon!

🎙️ New Podcast Episode: “When Abandonment Is Emotional, Not Physical"

In this episode, I dive into one of the deepest wounds behind insecure attachment: emotional abandonment.

So many of my clients ask, “Why do I struggle with abandonment when no one ever abandoned me?” And the truth is, abandonment isn’t always physical. More often, it’s emotional.

You can have parents who stayed together, a partner who never left, and still feel unseen, unheard, or emotionally dismissed. A 2024 study in Science Direct even found that emotional neglect affects more children than physical neglect.

In this episode, we’ll explore:
-What emotional abandonment really looks like (and how subtle it can be)
-Why your nervous system might still feel unsafe even in “good” relationships
-How to recognize and heal the moments when your emotions are minimized or ignored
-Practical tools to build inner safety and respond to emotional triggers proactively

Healing emotional abandonment starts when you stop abandoning yourself.

If this episode resonates with you and you’re ready to break free from these patterns and feel secure within yourself, I’d love to support you through 1:1 attachment coaching. Together, we’ll uncover your patterns, rebuild your sense of safety, and help you embody your Secure Self.
